# Vold Services hero video brief
## Shot
- Record one continuous 12–15 second pressure-washing pass in landscape at 4K.
- Use a tripod or stable gimbal with locked focus, exposure, and white balance.
- Hold on the visibly dirty surface for 1–2 seconds.
- Move the wand left to right and keep the clean line clearly visible for 7–9 seconds.
- Hold on the finished surface for at least 3 seconds; this final frame becomes the poster.
- Keep the wand and clean line inside the center 45% of the frame so a vertical mobile crop works.
- Leave the left side visually quiet when possible. Avoid faces, addresses, license plates, jump cuts, and fast camera moves.
## Delivery
- Supply the original camera file without music, text, filters, or baked-in branding.
- Preferred capture: 3840×2160, 30 or 60 fps, standard dynamic range.
- Final web exports: 1920×1080 desktop MP4/WebM and a 720×1280 center-cropped mobile version.
- Target 12–15 seconds and keep each web file below roughly 5 MB without visible blocking.
## Website handoff
The site uses `hero-scroll.mp4`, an audio-free, frequent-keyframe derivative of `hero.mp4`, with `img/hero-poster-v2.jpg`. The video stays paused and its playhead is mapped directly to hero scroll progress. For a future replacement, keep frequent seek points (roughly every 0.1 seconds), muted/plays-inline behavior, and the poster fallback.
